Mineral Monitorization in Different Tissues of Solanum tuberosum L. during Calcium Biofortification Process

Calcium is one of the 16 essential elements for plants, being required as Ca2+ and involved in several fundamental processes (namely, stability integrity cell wall, development plant tissue, division, stress responses). Moreover, Ca plays an important role potato production. In this context, study aimed to monitor culture (in situ using unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)) mineral content four (Ca, P, K, S) different organs Solanum tuberosum L. (roots, stems, leaves, tubers) during a calcium biofortification process, carried out with two types solutions (CaCl2 Ca-EDTA) concentrations (12 24 kg∙ha−1). The generally increased S. both varieties showed, after last foliar application, increase that varied between 5.7–95.6% 20.7–33%, Picasso Agria varieties, respectively. patterns accumulation process were variety element.
